Leather does not behave like linen. It does not ease into a corner, so the frame under Atrio is squarer and the arm is 26 cm wide instead of 18, which gives the hide a flat plane to sit on and stops it creasing at the fold.
We use full-grain hide from a single batch per sofa so the colour holds across all four panels. It will mark in the first year and then stop. That is the material doing what it does, and we would rather say so now than explain it afterwards.
