On most corner sofas the back steps down where the chaise begins. Oscar does not. The back rail is one height for the full 320 cm, which means the piece reads as a single object from across the room instead of two sofas pushed together.
The chaise is 180 cm from the wall, long enough to lie on properly. We make it left-hand or right-hand from the same drawings — tell us which wall it goes against and we cut the frame that way. It ships in two sections and bolts together on site, because 320 cm does not go up a Lebanese stairwell in one piece.
