Rima is made to stand away from the walls. Both ends curve, so there is no back that has to be hidden, and the piece works in the middle of an open plan where a normal corner sofa would look like it had been abandoned there.
Because every face is visible, the underside is finished as carefully as the front — the same linen, the same tacking, a solid oak rail rather than a stapled panel. Nobody will inspect it. It is still the right way to build it.
